What is Kinesiology?
Kinesiology is a deeply holistic therapy that listens to your body’s intelligence to uncover areas of tension, stress, or imbalance across the body, mind, and energy systems. By blending gentle muscle testing with insights from both ancient Eastern wisdom and Western science, it supports healing on all levels, including emotional, physical, chemical, and energetic, allowing the body to remember its natural capacity to restore balance.

I trained with T.A.S.K. (The Academy of Systematic Kinesiology), founded by Brian Butler, who pioneered this approach in the UK. Their integrated method draws on techniques from chiropractic, nutrition, Traditional Chinese Medicine, emotional work, and energy balancing, offering a flexible and responsive system to support each person as a whole, unique being.

I was drawn to Kinesiology after navigating over a decade of health challenges that conventional medicine couldn’t fully explain or resolve. I felt frustrated and disconnected from my own body.

Through this work, I began to understand that many of my symptoms were connected to unresolved emotional stress and nervous system imbalance. As those layers gently released, my body responded in ways I hadn’t thought possible.
​
A long-standing dairy intolerance that had shaped my diet for years gradually eased.
​
My Raynaud’s symptoms improved as we supported my endocrine system and stress patterns.
​
The mood swings, migraines, and intense period pain that once felt overwhelming softened significantly.
​
My energy increased, and I began to feel more steady and at home in myself.
​
Perhaps most importantly, I developed a deeper sense of self-trust and confidence. I became aware of emotional patterns I had been carrying unconsciously, and I was finally able to release them.

This is why I feel so passionate about sharing Kinesiology. I have experienced firsthand how, when the body feels safe and supported, it has an incredible capacity to restore balance in its own way.

What Kinesiology Can Support
Kinesiology works holistically, recognising that the body, mind, and emotions are deeply interconnected. By listening to your body’s responses, we can gently explore and support areas where stress may be held.

What to expect in a session
Each Kinesiology session is a calm, attentive space shaped around your unique needs in that moment.
You will lie fully clothed on a comfortable treatment bed while I use gentle muscle testing, a light pressure technique, to listen to your body and understand where stress or imbalance may be held across your physical, emotional, biochemical, and energetic systems.

From there, we follow what your system is ready to address.
​
This may include:
• Gently exploring underlying emotional patterns or stress responses, allowing them to soften and release through supportive techniques such as energy work, EFT tapping, breath, mindful touch, and Bach Flower remedies.
​
• Identifying nutritional imbalances or sensitivities through body testing, using food items or supplements to understand what may be asking for support.
​
• Applying corrective techniques such as lymphatic massage, jaw release, meridian tracing, structural adjustments, holding acupressure points, or guided eye movements that support the gentle reprogramming of subconscious stress patterns.
​
• Using affirmations, visualisation, or emotional stress release tools to help shift areas where energy feels blocked or stagnant.
​
• Closing with grounding practices to support integration, helping your body settle into a renewed sense of steadiness and balance.
​
Each session unfolds at your body’s pace. Nothing is forced, and you are always invited to move only as deeply as feels safe and supportive for you.

Many people experience a gentle yet powerful rebalancing, bringing a lightness to the body, clarity to the mind, and a renewed connection to their inner guidance.

As tension patterns begin to soften, the nervous system often settles into a deeper sense of safety and steadiness. From this place, insight can arise naturally, and what has felt stuck may begin to shift without force.

Some notice changes immediately, feeling calmer, clearer, or more emotionally grounded. For others, the shifts continue to unfold in the days that follow, as the body integrates at its own pace.

Each session supports your system in remembering its innate ability to restore balance, gently and intelligently, in alignment with where you are right now.

Initial & Deepener Sessions Explained
Initial Session – 1.5 hours
Our first session gives us time to gently explore your unique history, current health, and what your body is asking for. Through muscle testing, we can sense patterns of tension, emotional holding, and energetic imbalance. This extended session allows your system to unfold at its own pace, and provides space to develop a personalized approach that supports balance and restoration. It’s a calm, attentive start to your healing journey, helping you feel seen, supported, and grounded.

Follow-Up / Deepener Sessions – 1 hour
In follow-up sessions, we continue to build on the progress your body has made. We’ll reflect on any subtle or noticeable changes, explore what your system is asking for next, and gently address remaining patterns that may be holding you back. Each session provides space for deeper release, insight, and integration, supporting ongoing balance and long-term well-being.
​
The number of sessions needed varies from person to person. For best results, it is recommended to have one session every 2-4 weeks initially to support deep shifts and root-level integration, followed by maintenance sessions every 4-6 weeks to help your system remain steady and aligned.
​
Monthly Healing Circle
You are also warmly invited to our monthly Healing Circle at Soul Float, where Kinesiology and Reiki are offered in a group setting.
